1. What is the difference between your Felted zebra skins and Unfelted ones?
Answer: Felted skins have a Moroccan Satin layer trimmed with leather around the edges where as regular skins have the under skin exposed. The difference comes to maintenance and display. Felted skins can easily remain clean and can avoid curling up over a period of time. Regular skins tend to rub against the floor, which can get them dirty but if laid on a carpet or pinned on a wall the quality will remain outstanding for a long time.
2. How good is the quality of your skins?
Answer: All our zebra skins are high grade with minimal scars and amazing color contrast. The skins are well tanned and sure to last for a long time.
3. Do you sell perfect skins with no scars?
Answer: Because Zebras live in the wild its almost impossible to find ones without scars especially on their belly's or legs. This is usually caused by rough grass and Acacia thorns.
4. Where do your skins come from?
Answer: Our skins are all shipped from Tanzania and obtained through animals that have been culled to control their population.
5. What format of payment do you accept?
Answer: To protect ourselves and buyers, we use Paypal to accept all of our payments which guarantees a safe transaction between the two parties.
6. Once I buy a zebra rug what happens next?
Answer: After we receive your payment, we submit your names to the wildlife department so that we can acquire both the Veterinary and export certificates. These documents will be checked at your port of entry to validate the package.
7. How fast is your shipping?
Answer: We usually take 3-4 days to acquire the documents and once that is completed, its takes anywhere from 7 to 13 days to arrive. Delays can be caused by officials at your port of entry if they need to fumigate the skin.
8. Do you offer any guarantees?
Answer: Yes. If your not satisfied with your product, you can return it within 10 days after receiving it. Please note return shipping will not be refunded an document fees will be deducted since the wildlife department doesn't offer refunds for these documents. No worries though. In our entire selling history, no one has returned a single product assuring the quality of every single item.
